Water Fowl Excursion

The Legacy of the Lakes Museum and the Prairie Lakes Audubon chapter have teamed up to present Water Fowl Bird Watching. This is a free event, but space is limited so advance registration is required. Visit https://lolm.betterworld.org/events/water-fowl-excursion to reserve your spot! We're partnering with Douglas County Parks and Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center to provide a paddle excursion on Lake Brophy on August 3! Join us Monday, September 19th at the Legacy of the Lakes BoatHouse as Tim Schoonhoven and Todd Holman present on the Alexandria Nature Trail. He is lead engineer working with the Nature Conservancy to preserve and protect a corridor from I-94 to Lake Le’ Homme Dieu. The trail will provide for water runoff management as well as provide for public use of a nature trail.
