Music in the Gardens: Mick Sterling
Mick Sterling Presents: The Soul of Daryl and John-The Songs of Hall & Oates The Soul of Daryl and John is a multi-singer celebration of the most successful duo in Rock & Roll and Soul history, Hall and Oates. Join us in the Legacy Gardens with the Douglas County Library for free story time, perfect for ages 2-5. Stories start at 10:00 am. In case of rain, story time will take place in the museum.

Sailor School is a 3-hour camp that will teach students the skills an experienced sailor needs aboard a ship, from knots to navigation and more in between. A mid-morning snack will be provided. Grades 3-6 | $19 Register here

Urban Boat Builders will be on site in the museum for a paddle making class. You will choose your own design from traditional paddles— Beavertail, Ottertail, Algonquin or Voyageur, and you’ll choose which types of wood to use. Over the course of 3 days, you will shape the paddle—the same way artisans have been making paddles for centuries. No previous woodworking skills are required and all tools will be provided.
