Parade of Trees
Come to the BoatHouse to view the holiday trees decorated by area clubs, organizations, and businesses! Saturday, November 30 5:00-8:00 pm Sunday, December 1 5:00-8:00 pm This is a free event! Don't forget to bring your spare change to vote for your favorite tree. Any amount is accepted, from $0.25 to $20, in-between and beyond! The Legacy of the Lakes Museum is pleased to announce the 5th Annual Paddle Art Contest! We’re inviting community members to paint, carve, burn, or sculpt paddles into works of art. They will be displayed at the museum in a special exhibition opening Spring 2025. Admission to the Paddle Art Gallery to view the paddles is free and members of the public will be able to vote for their favorite for the People’s Choice Award. Earn your green thumb by learning the basics of planting and caring for plants. Help create a special "Children's Garden" within the Legacy Gardens, and return all summer to watch your hard work grow and flourish in this hands-on, gardening adventure! Session 1 is 10 am-11 am. Kids will be working in the dirt, so dress accordingly. Grades 1-5. Registration required, click here to register!
