Get ready for Family Day at the Legacy of the Lakes Museum and Gardens featuring musical guests The Teddy Bear Band! In conjunction with our June 5th Family Day Event, the museum is hosting a Lego Boat Building Contest for kids 17 & under! We invite kids to build a boat creation out of Legos and bring it with them to Family Day. New to Family Day this year! Stuff-N-Fluff will be set up inside the museum from 2-5 pm so kids can make their very own stuffed friend before the Teddy Bear Band concert. Get your creative juices flowing! Participants will build a boat out of common household supplies and recycled materials. Then they can test their designs on the water to see if it floats.
