Join us Monday, September 19th at the Legacy of the Lakes BoatHouse as Tim Schoonhoven and Todd Holman present on the Alexandria Nature Trail. He is lead engineer working with the Nature Conservancy to preserve and protect a corridor from I-94 to Lake Le’ Homme Dieu. The trail will provide for water runoff management as well as provide for public use of a nature trail. In honor of Minnesota's education tradition, the museum is offering up to 2 free adults/seniors with a paid youth admission* from Thursday, October 21 to Sunday, October 23. Stop by and see us! We're open Friday 10-5, Saturday 10-4, and Sunday 12-4. *Youth admission is $5 for children ages 5-17.

Join us on October 30 from 12-4 pm as we celebrate a successful season at the museum! We will have free admission to the museum, along with free fall themed refreshments. Kid's in Halloween costumes are welcome to Trick-or-Treat at our admission desk!

Join us in the BoatHouse for Lake Science Storytime and Experiments! Kid's grades 2nd-5th will participate in STEM experiments revolving around lakes. There are two dates for this program, November 8 and 15. This is a free event and no registration is required, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
