What is a Rain Garden?
Join us for an informational session with Douglas County Soil and Water Conservation District. They'll go over what rain gardens are and give you information on how you can start your own. This is a free event and will be held in the Legacy of the Lakes BoatHouse.

Join us for a fantastic evening of great music and good times with Mick Sterling! Gates open at 6:00 pm and the music starts at 6:30. Gar Wood Tickets ($20) are nearest the stage and a chair is provided. Grasslands Tickets ($10) are bring your own chair and first come, first serve seating. Kids 12 & under are free! The Legacy of the Lakes Museum and the Prairie Lakes Audubon chapter have teamed up to present Water Fowl Bird Watching. This is a free event, but space is limited so advance registration is required. Visit https://lolm.betterworld.org/events/water-fowl-excursion to reserve your spot! We're partnering with Douglas County Parks and Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center to provide a paddle excursion on Lake Brophy on August 3!
