Painting in the Garden
Let your creativity come to life in the beautiful Legacy Gardens at the Legacy of the Lakes Museum. Kids can take inspiration from the beautiful plantings, trees, and water and create thier very own masterpiece. Kids will be working with acrylic paints, so please wear appropriate clothing. Pre-registration is required. Sign up here through Alexandria Community Education.

Join us in the BoatHouse on Thursday, September 10th at 6:30 pm for a free presentation on the contributions small watercraft have made to building up the United States and defending freedom. This talk will travel through history, starting with the Revolutionary War.

Come to the museum on Halloween for a unique and completely free trick-or-treat experience. Kids in costume travel from boat to boat inside the museum, collecting candy from costumed volunteers. Part of the Downtown Alexandria Halloween Event!
