October 29 @ 8:00 a.m. - November 20 @ 5:00 p.m.
Event Navigation
We would like to invite your organization to decorate a holiday tree with a theme of your choosing for display at the museum. There is no fee to participate, and the trees will be viewed by thousands over the Thanksgiving weekend and beyond. For this year’s Parade, we will be moving the display into the Main Museum building and turning the BoatHouse into a warming hut and refreshment center.
The move gives us an exciting opportunity. After our regular Thanksgiving weekend display of the trees, we are giving organizations the option to leave their holiday tree up for a longer duration. The public will be able to view the trees during the museum’s Holiday Gift Shop hours and on weekend evenings coinciding with the Garden of Lights.
