Join the Legacy of the Lakes Museum and the Douglas County Historical Society for a free presentation at Copper Trail Brewing Co. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 7:00 pm. May’s topic will cover WWII. DCHS will present objects from thier collection that have ties to local heroes who fought in the war, while LOLM will look at how the war changed boat production and some of the innovations that arose from it, such as the infamous Higgins Boat.
