The Legacy of the Lakes Museum is pleased to be able to provide event space for your next event or gathering. The Legacy Gardens and BoatHouse serve as the perfect backdrop for your next rehearsal or groom’s dinner, bridal shower, holiday, retirement, or birthday party, class reunion, business meeting, customer appreciation, or banquet. Rent the spaces individually or as a package. At this time, the museum will not be offering wedding receptions on site.
All packages include:
- Tables and chairs for up to 160 (BoatHouse) or 200 (Tent)
- Table and chair set up
- Caterer’s plating area
- No food or beverages minimums
- Paved, lighted parking
- Easy access to all facilities for wheelchairs and walkers
- Central downtown location
- Reduced admission to Legacy of the Lakes Museum for guests (available during museum’s open season)
The BoatHouse Event Center
- Capacity: 160 (at rounds) or 200 (theater style)
- Open year-round
- Includes tables and chairs for up to 160
- From May-October, enjoy our rooftop deck (capacity 50)
Legacy Gardens Tent & Patio
- Capacity 200
- Open May-October (weather permitting)
- Tables and chairs for up to 200 (150 for wooden cross back chairs)
- 40′ x 60′ paver patio with white tent
Large Event Rentals
Large scale events are able to make use of both spaces through our Large Event rental package.
The Large Event package includes:
- Private use of BoatHouse, tented patio, and rooftop deck
- 15-hour rental
- Tables and chairs for up to 160 (BoatHouse) or 200 (Tent)
- Table and chair set up
- Caterer’s plating area
- No food or beverages minimums
- Paved, lighted parking
- Easy access to all facilities for wheelchairs and walkers
- Central downtown location
- Reduced admission to Legacy of the Lakes Museum for guests (available during museum’s open season)
