Join us for an evening of fun to celebrate Bruce Olson’s retirement. Bruce Olson is one of the original founders and the first and only Executive Director of the Legacy of the Lakes Museum.

This is a community event to celebrate the completion of the Legacy of the Lakes campus. Bruce has been a visionary force, providing the spark, enthusiasm and leadership to transform a start-up product into a respected, vibrant museum, campus, gardens, education and event center.

Doors at 5:00 pm
Dinner served 5:30 – 7:30 pm
Music from 7:00 – 9:00 pm

Tickets are $40.00 per person. Call or stop by the museum to purchase. Limited number of tickets available, so get yours early! We will be selling at the door that night.

Ticket includes a beef brisket meal with savory sides catered by Wurst Machers and gourmet desserts by Country Blossom Farm. Plus, a Music in the Gardens concert by the entertaining Davina and The Vagabonds! Remember to bring your lawn chair. Cash bar. 21+.

**This is a rain or shine fundraiser event. Proceeds will help fund a Gardener’s House to be built for the museum and garden volunteers’ work space and storage.

Music in the Gardens – Joyann Parker

Bring your lawn chair and enjoy live music under the stars! Dubbed the Twin Cities next great blues singer by the Minneapolis Star Tribune, Joyann Parker will be gracing the stage in the Legacy Gardens this July. Parker is an accomplished singer, songwriter, pianist, and lead guitarist from the Twin Cities.

Doors open at 6:00 pm, music from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. $8.00 admission. Cash bar. Must be 21+ to attend.

Bring your lawn chair and enjoy live music under the stars! Post Traumatic Funk Syndrome, a 12 piece horn band from Fargo-Moorhead, is coming to the Legacy Gardens this July. They are sure to get you up on your feet playing hits from Chicago, Blues Brothers, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Kool & The Gang, Isley Brothers, BB King, and more!
