The BoatHouse will be open Saturday and Sunday, November 29 & 30, from 5-8 pm for tree viewing only. Come check out the Holiday Trees decorated by area clubs, businesses, and organizations. This event is free and open to the public.

Complete your holiday shopping at the Legacy of the Lakes Museum! We're hosting a Sip and Shop on Saturday, December 20 from 11 am to 3 pm. Shop local and support the museum at the same time. We'll have $5 mimosas (21+) and up to 40% off our gift shop merchandise. We've got great items for stocking stuffers, boat enthusiasts, lake lovers, and even your four-legged friends!

It's time again for Hot Chocolate History, where your local historical institutions take turns presenting once a month, while serving up delicious hot cocoa! February is Legacy of the Lake's turn. We’ve come a long way in our beachwear, from Victorian bloomers to the polka dot bikini. Come learn about the evolution of swimwear throughout history and see examples from the museum’s collection.
