SUMMARY:Lake Brophy Paddle Excursion
DESCRIPTION:We're partnering with Douglas County Parks and Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center to provide a paddle excursion on Lake Brophy on August 3! It's the perfect chance to get out and paddle\, see the lake\, and learn a little lake history along the way.\nThere are two time slots available\, 6-7 pm and 7-8 pm. This event is free but as space is limited in the canoe\, advance registration is required. Adults and children of all ages are welcome\, but little ones may find this activity difficult.\nRegister here: https://lolm.betterworld.org/events/lake-brophy-paddle-excursion\nOn the evening of the paddle\, meet at the Brophy Wayside Park before your registered time.\nAvailable life vest sizes are:\n4 - large\n18 - adult universals\n10- 90lbs and under\n3 - 50lbs\nYou may bring your own life jacket\, but they must be US Coast Guard approved and in good condition.\nThis event is part of our program offerings in conjunction with the We Are Water MN traveling exhibit.
