DESCRIPTION:The Legacy of the Lakes Museum is pleased to announce the 3nd Annual Pledge-a-Paddle Community Art Contest. We invite community members to paint\, carve\, burn\, and sculpt paddles into works of art that will be displayed at the museum during the 2022 season. The museum provides the paddles and awards five prizes: Peoples Choice Award\, Adult and Youth; Artist’s Choice Award; and Juror’s Choice Award\, Adult and Youth.\n\nRegistration is open until March 31\, 2022. Learn about the notorious practice of smuggling alcohol through the water during prohibition with Legacy of the Lakes Museum.\n\nJoin us online! This class will be held using the online platform\, Zoom. Prior to the class\, you will receive an email from the instructor with the Zoom invitation to access the class.
