DESCRIPTION:It's time again for Christmas in Alexandria\, Alexandria's annual holiday kick off and we're excited to once again host Parade of Trees in the BoatHouse! This event is free and open to the public!\n\nCome see holiday trees beautifully decorated by local clubs\, businesses\, and organizations and vote for your favorite tree to win Best in Parade. Voting is done through cash donations. Any monetary amount is accepted\, whether it is $0.25\, $5.00\, or $20.00\, whatever you can spare. Proceeds from voting go towards our non-profit of the year\, The Big Ole Restoration Fund.\n\nAlso at the Museum:\nFree Hot Cocoa Bar\nGrown-Up Hot Cocoa Bar (21+\, $)\nFree S'more making\nHoliday photo backdrop courtesy of Creations\nHot soup courtesy of the Depot (free will donation)\nGarden of Lights courtesy of Friends of Christmas\n\nFollow the lighted path over to the Runestone Museum to visit with Santa\, hear the Christmas Choirs\, and get your free hot apple cider and cookies. Counselor Realty is serving free Kettle Corn on Broadway and there will be a performance from the Andria Theatre at 5:00 in front of the Runestone on Broadway at 5:00 pm. Broadway will light up at 5:15 thanks to our friends at ALP\, then catch the Holiday Light Parade at 5:30.
