DESCRIPTION:Each month the museum will have a fun\, lake-life craft you can create and take home!  Canoes have been a way to get from here to there for thousands of years. Discover how these marvels of water travel were made and create your own version of a birch canoe and a dugout canoe. Experiment with canoe shapes to figure out what floats a boat. Parents must accompany child\, no additional fee. Maximum number of people allowed for the class is 9 (this includes parent).\n\nCost is $5.00. Advance registration required. Visit Alexandria Community Education to register.
